Execution
Pacific Airlift stepped in to rescue a Petrochemical customer facing production delay losses. The cargo that was already on its way from Italy to Singapore required another 12 days of sea journey to reach its destination. After consultation with experts, Pacific Airlift sprang into action – applying for the landing permits for an AN-124 into Singapore and destination overflying permits, and for the necessary approvals to load this outsized cargo in Singapore. The 90-tonne petrochemical equipment was offloaded from the ship mid-way and transferred from the seaport to the airport for loading into an AN-124 and sent on its way to South Korea on the request of the customer. This operation cut transport time to mere 48 hours and saved our client millions of dollars. |
